Located at the other side of the train station from Palladini Hostel and approx a 10 minute walk this sleek and stylish new restaurant in Rome offers a modern take on Italian food with its ‘Italian Fusion’ dining with the aim to serve traditional Italian cuisine with a twist as well as many international dishes to the menu. Bramble Bar & Kitchen offers a variety of pizzas too and even burgers with an American influence. The Bramble has inside an outside seating with heaters in the winter time.

Located on Viale di Trastevere just after the bridge and right neat the cinema. The place looks anything but special but is a typical Roman Pizzeria and is the place where to eat in Rome if your looking for no frills but excellent Pizza Romana. At weekends you will see crowds of people in a line to get a table at ai Marmi. They do great pizzas and fried foods such as battered codfish and suppli which are excellent. Now this is not the place if you are looking to get dressed up and wined and dined but if its pizza your looking for and at a good price to then its a great choice at weekends you might have to wait a while and when you do get a table most probably a little cramped but its all part of the style of the place. Afterwards you can take a short walk into Trastevere for a drink in the many bars or some of the local shops still open in the evening time.

L’Orso 80 – Where to eat in Rome
A short walk from Piazza Navona Hostario Orso 80 gets its name from the street located on Via dell Orso, 33. You can also reach it from Piazza di Spagna. The restauran has photos on the walls from all the famous guests with hollywood actors, superstar footballers and leading politicians who have all eaten here. The atmosphere in the restaurant is good and they offer great typical Italian food. They do a great Antipasta of the house which comes with a mountain of plates and includes eggplant, onions, fennel, olives, meatballs, omelette, zucchini, baked beans, mozzarella, celery, salad and some others so if you order this be prepared as you may have no room for your main meal.

Il Vero Alfredo
The Real Alfredo restaurant is probably the most famous place Where to eat in Rome and can be found on Piazza Augusto Imperatore, 30 which is close to Piazza di Spagna and is an institution in Rome and Italy. The “Il Vero Alfredo” was opened in 1950 but is actually the 3rd restaurant from the “Alfredo” family and is now in the third generation of ownership.
